We were sent an initial brief by the client based on intent and materials. Over various meetings, both in person and by Teams the design and sizing of each sign was sharpened. As always, we produced a full artwork package for sign off prior to manufacture. Our ability to use different materials and finishes really helped make these stand out from the everyday sign requirement.

Taking on board the requirements of a different feel and different materials for each level we collaborated with the client’s design team and the end user to produce the following signs. Sign 1 illuminated metal box section framework with painted metal disks and acrylic letters. Sign 2 cut and painted flat cut 3 section acrylic letters to produce the “RIDE THE LIGHTNING” effect. Sign 3 producing halo illuminated signage from Valchromat materials

incorporating an opal acrylic basestrip containing the LED’s for the lighting effect. Sign 4 was our own unique designed and manufactured 360 degree built up metal fabricated letters covered with glass mosaic tiles and fitted to a pre-existing framework. Sign 5 is a powder coated Illuminated folded metal tray sign fronted by built up LED illuminated letters manufactured to fit within the wooden casing a gain fitted by the joinery company.

The installation took place under full building site conditions with all the RAMS completed and issued and, as always, wearing the required PPE. Again, the works were completed on time, within budget and ready for their moving in days. Have a look below to see the design and the finish. Pretty good job I would say. Time for a break!!
